“I am not for a moment suggesting that we import the idea on the same scale but I believe their model sends out a strange message we choose to ignore at our own peril.” She stated.

The Chief Justice stressed the need for a well equipped press centre to facilitate effective reportage of Court matters. Within the context of legal frame work which may help reduce friction between the Judiciary and the Media.

She commended her predecessors particularly the late Chief Justice Acquah to their foresight and invaluable contribution to the realization of the project.

The Chief Justice noted that the days deliberation will go a long way to assist in amending the proposed Court Complex to make it more fitting for its purpose and more user friendly.

Mr. Felix Abbey, an architect assured that engineers will work within the stipulated time when the work commences.
