The ceremony was graced by Justice Fredrick Tetteh, Deputy Judicial Secretary for the Northern Sector, who was representing the
Chief Justice, Her Ladyship Gertrude Sackey Torkornoo, His Worship Sydney Braimah, Magistrate of the Ejura District Court, officials
from the Municipal Assembly, the Divisional Police Commander, traditional and religious leaders, staff of the Judicial Service, among others.

Delivering the Chief Justice’s address, Justice Tetteh highlighted the significance of the new court house in ensuring justice is accessible
and impartial. He said, “this court house is more than a building; it is a symbol of hope for the people of Ejura,” urging judicial officers to
uphold professionalism, fairness and respect for all who seek justice. He emphasized that the court’s judgments should be based solely on
the law and evidence and must be free from bias or favouritism.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Ejura Sekyedumase, Dr. Kingsley Osei, commended the government and stakeholders for their efforts in
completing the project. He stressed the importance of citizens respecting the rule of law and condemned the resort to instant justice by citizens.
He advocated the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms to reduce the case load of courts.

Nana Odiasempa Antwi Obugyei II who was representing the Chief of Ejura, Barima Osei Hwedie II, reaffirmed the traditional area’s commitment
to the cause of justice delivery and equitable legal access. He described the facility as a symbol of progress that addresses the growing demand for
justice in the developing community. He further called on judicial officers to honour the trust placed in them and serve with integrity.
