His Excellency the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has charged Judges particularly, Justices of
                        the High Court to ensure their judgments and decisions are properly motivated as the High Court is the
                        focal point for justice delivery.

                        The Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana, Her Ladyship Justice Gertrude Sackey Torkornoo has expressed
                        her willingness to put her expertise at the disposal of the Ghanaian youth through mentorship. She was
                        speaking at the instance of a request for her nomination to become National Youth Authority (NYA)
                        Ambassador, during a courtesy call on her, in her Office by a delegation from the Authority.

                        In a quest to deepen relationships with key institutions to support and enhance each other’s work, the
                        Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII) has paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Lady Chief Justice, Justice Gertrude
                        Sackey Torkornoo at the Conference Room of the Administration Block of the Judicial Service in Accra.

                       The Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) is seeking to partner the Judicial Service of Ghana (JSG)
                       to streamline processes relating to the valuation of properties in court matters.

                        A 33-member delegation of the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce, led by Mr. Korieh Duodu of Egality Law,
                        has paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Lady Chief Justice, Justice Gertrude Sackey Torkornoo, at the
                        Conference Room of the Administration Block of the Judicial Service in Accra.

                       The Chief Justice, Her Ladyship Justice Gertrude Torkornoo, has appealed to Ghanaians to actively
                       participate in the administration of justice and not leave it for Lawyers and Judges alone.

                       A Circuit Court has been inaugurated in New Abirem, in the Birem North Constituency in the Eastern
                      Region of Ghana. The establishment of the Court means that the people of New Abirem will no longer
                      travel and incur additional costs accessing justice in Oda, Mpraeso, Asamankese and Swedru, as was
                      the case, due to the limited jurisdiction of the existing District Court.
