Justice Janet Anima Maafo, in a speech read on behalf of the Acting Chief Justice, His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie,
noted that the newly inaugurated Kpone District Courthouse stands as a testament to the Judicial Service's commitment to
upholding the rule of law and ensuring that justice is not merely a distant concept, but a tangible reality for all.
She further described the courthouse as a beacon of hope for the people of Kpone-Katamanso.
" ...Let us remember that this courthouse is more than just a building. It is a symbol of hope for the people of Kpone-Katamanso -
a promise that justice will continue to be within reach and accessible rights here in their own community. It is a sign of the nation's
commitment to the people of Kpone-Katamanso, a promise of justice, and a recognition of their inherent right and dignity".
Justice Janet Anima Maafo revealed that work on the court first began in 2017. She noted that the groundbreaking ceremony was
performed by the Kpone Mantse, Nii Tetteh Otu II, and former Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Solomon Appiah. Since then, the project
has spanned the tenures of two Municipal Chief Executives, Hon. Solomon Appiah and Hon. Samuel Okoe Amanquah.

surrounding communities.
She charged court staff who will be working in the court ‘‘to ensure that every individual who enters these halls is treated with dignity and
respect, and that their rights are upheld with integrity and fairness’’.
